{"id":717,"date":"2026-06-18T21:20:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T19:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/?p=717"},"modified":"2026-06-18T21:20:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T19:20:08","slug":"solace-cee-in-warsaw-a-partner-meeting-and-a-step-forward-for-the-whole-cee-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/index.php\/2026\/06\/18\/solace-cee-in-warsaw-a-partner-meeting-and-a-step-forward-for-the-whole-cee-region\/","title":{"rendered":"SOLACE-CEE in Warsaw: a partner meeting and a step forward for the whole CEE region"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Late May took our project team to Warsaw. <\/strong> <strong>Three days full of meetings, presentations, and shared learning showed once again that cooperation across Central and Eastern Europe carries real strength.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Meeting in person<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After months of working together remotely, the entire SOLACE-CEE consortium \u2014 DEDO, HESED, HFPF, Casa Ioana, HSCOM, MRI, and V\u0161etci pre rodinu, n.o. \u2014 finally met in person. The meeting was hosted by the Housing First Poland Foundation at <em>Du\u017cy Pok\u00f3j<\/em>, a space whose atmosphere practically invited open dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The agenda was packed: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>partners shared the current state of local hubs and innovations from their countries, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reviewed the results of the project&#8217;s evaluation process so far, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and reflected together on the next direction for the innovation team. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just as important as the agenda itself was the room left for open discussion \u2014 for questions, mutual learning, and the kind of relationship-building that moves an international project like this one forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">Inspiration straight from Polish practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Warsaw programme also included visits to organisations providing direct support to people experiencing homelessness in the city. Guided by the <strong>Street Medical Patrol<\/strong> \u2014 a joint initiative of<strong> the Municipal Guard, Caritas Poland, and the Jeste\u015bmy Nadziej\u0105 association<\/strong> \u2014 we visited two facilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>SODON sobering-up centre<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, this facility has grown well beyond its original purpose and today focuses on individualised client care and addiction-related education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"819\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Solace-cee-in-warsaw-2-1024x819.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-720\" style=\"width:709px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Solace-cee-in-warsaw-2-1024x819.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Solace-cee-in-warsaw-2-300x240.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Solace-cee-in-warsaw-2-768x614.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Solace-cee-in-warsaw-2.jpg 1350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Jeste\u015bmy Nadziej\u0105 clinic<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recently opened facility providing healthcare to people experiencing homelessness and to foreigners, including access to specialists in gynaecology, dentistry, neurology, and psychiatry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both visits reaffirmed something the SOLACE-CEE project itself is built on: meaningful support happens where people actually are, and it requires cooperation across systems and sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Dizajn-bez-nazvu-70-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-721\" style=\"width:608px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Dizajn-bez-nazvu-70-819x1024.jpg 819w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Dizajn-bez-nazvu-70-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Dizajn-bez-nazvu-70-768x960.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.solacespotlight.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Dizajn-bez-nazvu-70.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">What the consortium takes home<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warsaw brought the SOLACE-CEE project new contacts, fresh inspiration, and concrete ideas that each partner will now bring back to their own country. Meeting the whole consortium in person confirmed once again that sharing experience between organisations from different CEE countries is one of the most powerful tools we have in this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By working together \u2014 across borders and across organisations \u2014 we can drive systemic change that genuinely helps people facing housing insecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Late May took our project team to Warsaw.
