This prestigious award represents not only recognition of our work but also confirmation that the path we are following is the right one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThank you very much for this award. We see it as recognition of the courage to bring social innovations from abroad, particularly in the area of ending homelessness,\u201d<\/em> says Alena Vachnov\u00e1, Chairwoman of the DEDO Foundation Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The year 2025 is also special for another reason \u2013 together with our member organization V\u0161etci pre rodinu, n.o. (VPR), we are opening Integrated Health and Social Care Hubs for vulnerable groups in Ko\u0161ice and later in Pre\u0161ov. These hubs are a concrete example of our innovative work, combining health and social care in a single place to provide support for those who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Innovative Hubs \u2013 Where Health and Social Care Come Together<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Hubs bring together a<\/strong> <strong>multidisciplinary team of experts<\/strong> \u2013 healthcare professionals, social workers, psychologists, employment support specialists, a lawyer and administrative workers \u2013 all working together to provide comprehensive support for vulnerable people. Assistance is available to everyone \u2013\u00a0 free of charge, with no judgment, for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SOLACE-CEE project allows us to integrate health and social care at the local level and advance systemic work in ending homelessness one step further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Invaluable Collaboration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our work would not be possible without partners who believe that every person has the right to a new beginning \u2013 whether it is the cities of Ko\u0161ice and Pre\u0161ov, regional authorities, non-profit organizations, individual donors, or partners from the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FELIX 2025 award is also a commitment for us to continue ensuring that every home, every hub, and every project contributes to the stability and dignity of the people we support.<br><br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEDO Foundation was awarded the FELIX 2025 in the Slovensk\u00e1 sporite\u013e\u0148a Prize for Public Good.
