Needs Assessment Surveys for Solace-CEE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of our ongoing work within the SOLACE-CEE project, we have successfully completed a comprehensive round of needs assessment interviews in Warsaw (Poland). Our team managed to do three times more surveys as we planned. We had <strong>30 participants, who consent<\/strong> <strong>to take part in the survey<\/strong>. We asked our participants about their experience and strategies of using medical and social support in Warsaw. One of the 11 participants chose not to participante in the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4 interviews were conducted with persons experiencing homelessness in the past, <\/strong>currently staying at the apartments, in stable contact with HFP psychologists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>15 interviews were conducted in cooperation with medical-focused NGOs<\/strong>, including a specialist health clinic, a shelter for homeless individuals requiring nursing care, and the Emergency Medical Services. These partnerships were essential in reaching the additional number of respondents required for our assessment, as proposed by MRI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We also completed <strong>five in-depth qualitative interviews<\/strong> to further explore systemic and personal dimensions of need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>3 in-depth interviews with participants<\/strong> of the <em>Ambivalence Program<\/em>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 interview with a psychologist<\/strong> working in a public long-term care facility,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 focus group discussion with three staff members<\/strong> from an Ambulatory Specialist Clinic for uninsured individuals who have experienced homelessness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>May also marked the 5th anniversary of the Housing First Poland Foundation.
