We are excited to share the initial data reflecting our efforts to provide holistic support:
Mental Health & Personal Growth – Through 36 psychological sessions, we supported 11 individuals (avg. age 26). Our focus remained on adolescent development, self-esteem, and financial literacy—essential tools for navigating modern challenges and health-related transitions.
Social Stability & Integration – In parallel, 23 social counseling sessions were provided to 12 beneficiaries (avg. age 35). We prioritized identifying safe and stable housing solutions, alongside accessing financial benefits and legal or employment guidance. A key priority remains the educational support for minors within these families.
The Bigger Picture – With women representing over 85% of our current beneficiaries, these First Insights highlight the specific demographic needs in our region. We are committed to refining our approach as Solace-CEE continues to grow.
We have systematized the first wave of insights from our frontline interventions. These findings do more than just report numbers; they provide a roadmap for how we can better serve vulnerable populations through integrated psychological and social support.
🧠 Empowering the Next Generation: Psychological Support
Our psychological pillar has successfully delivered 36 comprehensive sessions, primarily engaging a younger demographic with an average age of 26.
- Holistic Growth: Beyond traditional counseling, we’ve focused on life-design skills for adolescents, including relationship navigation and time management.
- Economic Resilience: A unique aspect of our intervention involves linking mental health with practical stability, such as providing guidance on monthly expense management to build financial confidence and autonomy.
- Crisis Support: We continue to provide a vital safety net for those facing severe health challenges or undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring that physical recovery is matched by emotional resilience.
🏠 Building Stability: Social Integration & Safe Housing
In parallel, our social team has conducted 23 targeted counseling sessions for 12 beneficiaries (average age 35). This pillar acts as the practical engine of the Solace-CEE project:
- Securing the Future: We have moved away from traditional models toward identifying stable and safe housing solutions that allow families to rebuild in dignity.
- Systemic Navigation: Our experts assist beneficiaries in navigating complex legal landscapes and accessing essential financial benefits that are often out of reach due to bureaucratic barriers.
- Generational Impact: By providing educational guidance for minors and career coaching for adults, we are working to break the cycle of vulnerability and foster long-term social integration.
📊 The Gender Dimension & Moving Forward
The data reveals a significant trend: over 85% of our current beneficiaries are women (20 out of 23 total participants). This underscores the critical need for gender-sensitive programming within the CEE region. These “First Insights” confirm that when we support women—especially in areas of housing and mental health—the positive ripple effect reaches the entire family unit.
As we move into the next phase of Solace-CEE, these metrics will allow us to refine our resource allocation and ensure our interventions remain as impactful as possible.
Together, we are not just providing services; we are building a foundation for a more resilient society.
