Integrated health and social care in practice: new data from Košice and first results from Prešov

Since the HUB of Integrated services in Košice opened in November 2025, its health and support services have been used by people of different ages and with diverse needs. After the first months of operation, we now have data showing the scale of support provided by the HUB and the needs people bring with them. At the same time, the integrated care model is also expanding to Prešov, where we already have the first data on the use of support services.

Košice: more than 4,000 interactions in 10 Months

Between November 2025 and August 2026, the Košice HUB recorded more than 4,114 interactions with clients through its support services, as well as more than 1,320 visits. This represents an average of approximately 410 interactions and 130 visits per month.

In the area of healthcare, we recorded 1,505 interactions with patients. A total of 130 patients registered with the general practitioner.

The age distribution is also notable, as shown in the chart. The largest group consists of people aged 59 and over (24.5%), closely followed by those aged 49–58 (23.8%) and 39–48 (23.1%).

Prešov: first numbers and insights

While the Košice centre has been operating since November 2025, the first data from Prešov cover the period from June to August 2026. Since its opening, the Prešov HUB has recorded more than 490 interactions with clients and more than 156 visits.

Numbers are just the Beginning

Someone who needs a doctor may also be dealing with housing, employment or communication with public authorities. That is why we bring health and support services together in one place. The data from 10 months of operation in Košice, together with the first figures from Prešov, show what integrated care looks like in practice.
