Launching a Supported Housing Programme for People with Psychosocial Disabilities

The SOLACE-CEE project launched a housing support program for our clients struggling with psychosocial problems.

The preparation of the supported housing program for people with psychosocial disabilities began with professional consultations and the establishment of a local service ring. As part of the process, the professionals completed a literature review, launched a complex needs assessment of future residents, and began developing the professional program and licensing documentation. The goal of the project is to provide a framework that supports quality, self- determined living along the legal background and methodological sample documents.

The professional foundations of the project are provided by the recovery-centered approach, the Maltese methodological documents, and the systematization of domestic and international literature.
